Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport and clearing customs, you'll be greeted by our representative who will take you to Arusha City. As the safari capital of Tanzania, Arusha is a bustling hub located at the base of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. With both domestic and international airports, it serves as a gateway to the famous Northern safari circuit and neighboring countries. Arusha is also the capital of the East Africa Community and home to the East Africa Court of Justice. You'll be spending your first night at Under The Shade Safari Lodge.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we'll head toward Tarangire National Park which derives its name from the Tarangire River that flows through it. It provides a vital water source for the park's wildlife during the dry season. The park boasts diverse vegetation, ranging from elephant grass to acacia woodlands and lush groundwater forests, providing a habitat for various species.

Tarangire's main attraction is its elephant families which congregate by the river. Visitors may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, lions, leopards, and a plethora of bird species. The park also features giant baobab trees, some of which are over two centuries old. After a day of exploration, we'll retreat to your lodging for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3-4

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, we'll drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park with opportunities for game viewing en-route. Serengeti is famous for its natural beauty and scientific importance and is home to the largest concentration of plains game in Africa. The park is renowned for its incredible wildebeest migration with over a million wildebeest and two hundred thousand zebra traveling annually between the northern hills and southern plains. After an exciting day of exploring, we'll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Following an early breakfast, we'll depart from the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a game-viewing drive. The crater is renowned for being one of Africa's most iconic attractions with the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent. Often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," the Ngorongoro Crater attracts a growing number of visitors each year.

Although you may encounter other vehicles on your game drive, the abundant wildlife in the crater makes it a truly extraordinary experience. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhinoceros. The park is home to the entire Big Five, and you'll have a good chance of spotting lion and Cape buffalo throughout the year. We'll enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic site before continuing our drive to the lodge where you'll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 6

Materuni Waterfall And Hotspring

Materuni Waterfall And Hotspring

We'll pick you up from your Arusha hotel and take you to Materuni Waterfall. You'll start your day 2,500 meters above sea level with a local safari guide. Along the way, you'll explore the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, encountering birds, chameleons, and lush coffee and banana trees. Upon reaching the waterfall, you can take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear pools. Afterward, you'll return to the village for a coffee tour. Then, your safari guide will drive you to Chemka Hot Spring, where you can swim in a natural pool with clean water and small fish. Be sure to bring your swimming clothes. While enjoying the water, you can also savor drinks until the evening. Finally, we'll drive you back to Arusha or drop you off at Kilimanjaro Airport, concluding our safari adventure.
