Day 1

Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The journey starts at 7:30 a.m. from the pickup point. Then, breakfast and bathroom break at Shell Kayabwe for 25 minutes. You'll then make a stop over at the Equator landmark for an experience of the earth's rotation on the axis. You'll then make a stopover to Biharwe for a little hike to the Eclipse monument. Then, you'll have lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre for an hour. You will drive to Kabale and have an aerial view of Lake Bunyonyi at the site seeing viewpoint for 15 minutes. You'll then proceed to Kisoro but before reaching there you'll make a stopover at Mt. Muhavura volcanoes viewpoint for 15 minutes. You'll then travel to Rushaga in Bwindi where you spend a night at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.

Day 2

Trek Gorilla and Head to Lake Bunyonyi

Trek Gorilla and Head to Lake Bunyonyi

This is a day's activity. Breakfast is served by 7:00 a.m. We advise one to carry a packed lunch in the form of a snack and enough water like 1.5 liters.

You will then head to the National Park gate for registration and briefing. After registration and briefing, you will be assigned a group for trekking with a guide and rangers. Then trekking starts for the gorillas. This takes 30 mins to 2 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. You are then given an hour to view the gorillas. Then, you'll be asked to return to the briefing point where you will be awarded a trekking certificate from the Uganda Wildlife Authority.

You will then head to Lake Bunyonyi.

After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and begin your scenic journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destinations. Arrive in the afternoon and check in at your lodge before setting out for an evening game drive. As the sun sets, the park comes alive with elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators beginning their nocturnal activities. With golden light washing over the savannah, this drive offers a magical introduction to Queen Elizabeth’s rich wildlife before returning to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, when the savannah comes alive with predators returning from the hunt and grazers beginning their day. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. After lunch, head into the lush Kyambura Gorge for an exhilarating chimpanzee trek, where you’ll hike through tropical forest listening for their calls and observing them in their natural habitat. In the evening, relax on a sunset boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a wildlife haven where hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and countless waterbirds gather at the shores, creating the perfect close to an adventurous day.

In the evening, you will head to the top of the falls of Murchison Falls. Then, you will return to the lodge.

Breakfast is served at 7:30 am. You will then head off at 8:00 am for a morning game drive in the national park for 2-3 hours. You will then return to the hotel to rest and have lunch. At 2:00 pm, you will head for a boat cruise on the Nile for 2 hours and then return to the hotel.
