Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You will depart from Arusha in the morning, heading southwest to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, you will start your first game drive, exploring the park’s rich landscapes, home to wildebeests, zebras, and various predators such as lions and leopards. Tarangire River, which cuts through the park, attracts numerous animals, making it an ideal spot for wildlife observation. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, you’ll head to your accommodation near the park, where you can relax, enjoy a hot meal, and settle in for the night.

After an early breakfast, you will leave Tarangire and drive through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Serengeti National Park by mid-day. As you journey to the Serengeti, you’ll pass by villages and farmlands, catching glimpses of Maasai life along the way. In the Serengeti, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. This region is known for its spectacular wildlife, and with luck, you may spot the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. You will spend the night at a camp or lodge within the park, falling asleep to the sounds of nature under the vast African sky.

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Today, you will spend a full day exploring the Serengeti’s stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. You will depart early in the morning for a sunrise game drive, when the animals are most active. This is an excellent time to witness the Serengeti’s famous predators—lions, cheetahs, and hyenas—as they hunt for prey. Throughout the day, you’ll traverse different areas of the park, including rivers, kopjes (rocky outcrops), and open savannahs. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner after a full day of adventure.

Ngorongorongo Crater
Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After an early breakfast, you will leave the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," the crater is teeming with wildlife, from hippos and flamingos to elusive black rhinos. As you journey through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll be amazed by the variety of ecosystems and animal encounters within such a concentrated area. After an incredible day in the crater, you’ll begin the drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end.
