After an early breakfast, you will leave Tarangire and drive through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Serengeti National Park by mid-day. As you journey to the Serengeti, you’ll pass by villages and farmlands, catching glimpses of Maasai life along the way. In the Serengeti, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. This region is known for its spectacular wildlife, and with luck, you may spot the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. You will spend the night at a camp or lodge within the park, falling asleep to the sounds of nature under the vast African sky.

This is an excellent time to witness the Serengeti’s famous predators—lions, cheetahs, and hyenas—as they hunt for prey. Throughout the day, you’ll traverse different areas of the park, including rivers, kopjes (rocky outcrops), and open savannahs. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner after a full day of adventure.

As you journey through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll be amazed by the variety of ecosystems and animal encounters within such a concentrated area. After an incredible day in the crater, you’ll begin the drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end.
