Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by your driver for a departure to the Masai Mara National Reserve stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and then having lunch at Narok. You will arrive at Mara in the afternoon, check-in and have a short rest before you proceed to enjoy your afternoon game drive in the reserve which is famous for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. You will go in search of the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve before going back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After your breakfast in the morning, you will begin your spectacular whole-day game drive which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs and leopards.

Early mornings and late afternoons are the best time to spot animals as they are most active. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography. You will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, the site of the Great Migration when in season—July through October. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events that we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Want an unforgettable sight? Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah.

Day 3

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

You will wake up early for a pre-breakfast morning game drive inside the park, an opportunity to spot animals that you might not have seen in the previous drive. After your return to the camp for a full breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of the Rift Valley.

You will arrive at the pink lake in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes whose ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos and other water birds as the major attractions of the area. Other than birds, 56 different species of mammals exist in this ecosystem including white rhinos and buffaloes.
After the adventurous drive, you will return for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart Lake Nakuru heading to another adventurous drive in Lake Naivasha National Park. Lake Naivasha is famous for its high population of hippos and flamingos. Other animals to be seen here include giraffes, zebras, impalas and waterbucks near Lake Naivasha, around Crescent Island and Crater Lake Game Sanctuary. Interesting optional activities here to undertake at an extra cost are boat safaris to Crescent Island and a visit to the Crater Lake Game Sanctuary. Night game drivers can be organized at Crater Lake, a great opportunity to see leopards, caracals and many other elusive species.

Day 5

After your breakfast, you will depart in the morning heading to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. Your guide will take you on an afternoon game drive for a clear evening view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli National Park is situated due south of Nairobi. Most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grasslands with patches of acacia woodland while in the southern area, there are several small, rocky, and volcanic hills. Around the swamps of Ol Kenya, Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation is lush with yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms.

After an early breakfast, you will have a whole day of adventure in the park. As per your choice, you will either have a full-day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives. This park is home to great herds of elephants and with a backdrop of the beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro which makes it a favourite spot for photographers. You'll enjoy spotting unique animals found in the beautiful, scenic park such as cheetahs, lions and leopards.

At an extra cost, you can choose to visit the local communities in their nearby villages. You will return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will depart from Amboseli to Tsavo East arriving at lunchtime. After your lunch and short rest, you will embark on your afternoon drive in the park.

Tsavo East is known for its impressive elephants and the legend of the man-eaters of Tsavo. The Galana River passes through the park providing life-giving waters in the region. Some major attractions here are the huge herds of elephants covered in red dust from wallowing and dust bathing, the Mudanda Rock which is a rock towering above a natural dam that draws many elephants to quench their thirst every day, and the Lugards Falls which occur on the Galana River, passing over some interestingly-shaped rocks. Activities to undertake are game drives, bush walks, hiking, rock climbing and horse riding.

Early in the morning, you will have the opportunity of enjoying a pre-breakfast game drive in the park. You will return to the lodge for breakfast and check out heading to Tsavo West National Park. Tsavo West is known as a "land of lava, springs, man-eaters and magical sunsets." The park is also home to over fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water that comes from under parched lava rock. The Mzima Springs and the Shetani Lava Flows are unique attractions found in the park. It’s a home of all African big game especially the African Big Five which include lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos and the shy leopards. The other big game found at the park are giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, gerenuks, lesser kudus, waterbucks, wildebeests and others. The parks also host a good number of bird species especially rare birds like corncrake, Basra reed warbler, secretary bird and many others.

On your last day, you will wake up very early to prepare for a morning game drive in the park. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for a full breakfast, then depart for Nairobi by road. Lunch will be served en route. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
