Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

You shall be picked up at JKIA airport/hotel by a Mzingo Wild Adventures representative who will introduce you to your driver-guide then driven to Lake Nakuru National Park which is one of the ideal parks for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives (Wildlife Haven). The park lies in Central Kenya, Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

Arrive in time for lunch at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.

After lunch leave for afternoon game drives at Lake Nakuru. Later dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2

Breakfast, then drive to Masai Mara which is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing area. The Reserve is famous for its migration of wildebeests from Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya. Masai Mara has approximately 95 species of mammals, amphibians, and reptiles and over 400 bird species. Therefore, it’s hard to miss the big five.

You will arrive in time for lunch at the Mara Zebra Plains Camp. Later, leave the lodge for afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast at the camp then before 0800am leave the camp with packed lunch a full day game viewing coupled with exploring this spectacular Park. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lions are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebras. Cheetahs and leopards are also regularly seen, and less commonly seen rhinos.

The Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park – Moran’s (warriors) across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped up under a tree discussing matters of the day. A visit to a Maasai boma (at an extra cost) reveals their outstanding culture and customs.

Have a game drives in between meals. That is morning game drives, back for breakfast, lunch and later afternoon game drives.

Day 4

Breakfast, then drive back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the airport or at the hotel.

- Visit to the Giraffe Centre- Here, you will have the chance to interact with the majestic Rothschild giraffes in a unique and up-close encounter.

-Have dinner at the Carnivore restaurant- Suitable for the meat lovers.

Later, you will be dropped off at the airport or your Nairobi hotel.
