Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation and drive you to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours away). Tarangire is best known for its elephant families, savannah, iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the life-giving Tarangire River. Animals gather at the river and giraffe; bushbuck and hartebeest are often seen here. The Park is also home to buffalo, zebra and wildebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators such as lions and leopards. From the open roof of the vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the wildlife.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, which includes a delicious hot lunch, coffee and soft drinks.

Day 2

Mto wa mbu- Serengeti

The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats, such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah and mountains. You will enjoy another early breakfast and set off on your game drive at about 6:30 am, spending 5 hours exploring this incredible Park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffalo, crocodiles and hippos. It is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals' trek is determined by the rainfall and it varies from year to year. Apart from the migrating herds, you may see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs and lions. In the late afternoon you will drive back to your campsite (inside Serengeti) arriving in time for dinner.

Day 3

Serengeti to Ngorongoro highlands

Serengeti to Ngorongoro highlands

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a game drive to various regions of the park. You will then return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, you will check out and begin your journey back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will arrive at the Simba campsite for dinner and overnight; just at the top of Ngorongoro Crater in the evening. Here you will check in, have dinner, and turn in early; in order to be ready for an early morning descent into the crater.

Day 4

Ngorongoro crater

Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater on a journey to find the black rhino; the hardest animal to spot. Inside this beautiful crater, you will experience Africa’s version of “Noah’s Ark”, with a vast variety of wildlife including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and more. In the afternoon, you will stop for lunch at the hippo lake and then enjoy another game drive as you ascend back up to the crater rim heading back to Arusha and that will be the end of our tour.
