Day 1

Arusha to Serengeti

Arusha to Serengeti

After breakfast, you will drive from Arusha (7:15 am) to Serengeti which takes 8 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visit a Maasai village (optional) and explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe known for chasing lions off their kill. To be considered a warrior, they had to hunt lions and drink animal blood. Fortunately, these traditions are a thing of the past. With the exception of drinking blood, you can surely learn something from this tour.

Arrive at Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon and do a game drive in the Seronera area (center of Serengeti). Experience the sunset in the Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. If you are lucky, you may spot a predator hunting or on a kill. Later, head to the Seronera campsite.

Note: You can also view animals from the camp, mostly hyenas. There is close protection from active rangers, so no need to worry.

Main Destination:
Serengeti National Park
Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)
High Season July to March (The Seronera area is crowded)

Day 3

Ngorrongoro crater to Arusha

Ngorrongoro crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, we will descend the crater at 6:15 am on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater. After lunch, we will do a game drive and later ascend the crater to return to the camp. We will pack for the trip back to Arusha town or the airport.

Main Destination:
Ngorongoro Crater
Best Time To Visit June to October (Wildlife viewing is best)
High Season Most of the year – July to March (Expect crowds)
Best Weather June to October (Rainfall is little to none)
