At 8 am, your private safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha hotel for a trip to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse elephant population. As the sun rises, the dry grass crackles beneath the animals' feet. Although the riverbed is dry due to the season, the wildlife remains active, staying close to the riverbanks. The baboons continue their foraging and eventually head towards the river for water. As the baboons depart in the late afternoon, you'll leave the park and head to your lodge for a comfortable dinner and overnight stay.

Following an early breakfast, you'll embark on a journey toward the Serengeti, with lunch boxes in hand. Along the way, your guide will help spot animals and birds in the vast and stunning landscapes. The Serengeti is home to an array of wildlife, possibly the world's greatest gathering. After a picnic lunch, the adventure continues with more wildlife-spotting opportunities. Keep an eye out for elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, and crocodiles in the grasslands, savannah, woods, and mountains. The world's largest volcanic caldera is full of grasslands, forests, and swamps, providing a stunning backdrop for over 25,000 large mammals that reside there. You'll likely spot the Big Five in a single day, including elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, hippos, waterbucks, baboons, and even the rare black rhino. After a full day of game drives, you'll ascend the crater and head to your lodge for a comfortable evening.

Final Actions in Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

After breakfast, you'll head to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunches for game drives. The park is characterized by its large lake and forested areas along the base of the Great Rift Valley. Hot springs can also be found to the west of the park. You can expect to see a variety of animals such as tree-climbing lions, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and troops of baboons. Additionally, the park is home to several bird species including flamingos, ostriches, and Egyptian geese. After a picnic lunch, you'll continue with afternoon game drives before leaving the park and returning to Arusha for your next destination, either your hotel or the airport.
