Day 1

Arusha City to Tarangire National Park

Arusha City to Tarangire National Park

During this time of the year, thousands of animals migrate from the dry Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River for water. Covering an area of ​​2,600 sqkm, Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephants and buffalos. Other popular species to see here are lions, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. It is also the only known reserve where the fringe-eared oryx is seen. Olduvai Gorge: Located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Olduvai Gorge is 180 km from Arusha. It was here that Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis aka “handyman” which was considered the first step up mankind’s ladder of human evolution. Many fossils of prehistoric elephants, giant horned sheep, and huge ostriches have also been discovered here.
You will do a game drive in the park. Later, you will return to Mto wa Mbu for camping.

Day 2

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park via Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through the picturesque highland farmland of Karatu. You will leave the highlands behind and descend into the Serengeti National Park. It's the heart of untamed Africa, with its vast grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see. Then, you will head to the Seronera section of the park, one of the park's finest animal areas, containing the Seronera River. It offers a vital water source to this area and hence attracts wildlife that is well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. You'll arrive in time for lunch and have a wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park in the afternoon. Your dinner and your overnight stay will be at your campsite.

Day 3

You'll begin your game drive in Serengeti National Park early in the morning. We are completely open to your preferences, and this day will be planned around them. Every day of the safari, your guide will discuss the best times for you, including game drives and wake-up calls. On this day, for example, you could go on a morning game drive, then return to the camp/lodge for lunch/brunch and relaxation before going on another afternoon game drive. You could also go on a game drive and bring a picnic lunch. You will return to the campsite after the game drive.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and stay at the camp, with game drives along the way. You will be able to stop along the trip in one of the Maasai villages for at least 30 minutes for a native tribe experience. Simba Public Campsite is where you'll spend the night.

Day 5

This day begins early in the morning with a picnic lunch before descending the 2000 feet to the Crater floor in our 4WD vehicle for wildlife watching. You will have a look around this Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro Crater is a massive and deep volcanic crater in Tanzania. The Crater's bottom has abundant grassland, marshes, woodland, and constant water, which is why the fauna is so diverse and prolific. After that, you'll drive to Mto wa Mbu for camping.

Your 6 days on the Tanzania camping safari end by picking you up from your Mto wa Mbu and then driving to Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalos, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, and others. Late afternoon, you will drive to Arusha.
