Drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Our driver guide will pick you up at 07:30 am from the airport or hotel and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will pass by the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and continue onwards past Narok town. Enjoy an en-route game drive and beautiful scenery as you travel to the camp. Masai Mara National Reserve is famous for its high concentration of big cats and annual migration of thousands of wildebeest between July and October. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy a fascinating game-viewing drive—spotting lions, cheetahs, and other spectacular predators (if luck is on your side). In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

An early morning balloon safari is recommended on this day. You can choose to go on a full-day game drive in the reserve with a picnic lunch or morning and afternoon game drives. Between the game drives, you can choose to go for the Masai village visit, an optional activity. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of giraffes, those clumps of bushes a pride of lions, and the rock that moves a rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of cheetahs or a herd of elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment. A family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup. Finally, return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Drive back to Nairobi

Today is the last day of your amazing safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be taken for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant or any restaurant of your choice. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey with beautiful memories.
