Pick up from the airport, and enjoy the drive to Masai Mara National Reserve with a stopover at the rift valleys viewpoint, arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to have a late afternoon game drive in search of wildlife in the vast savannah which is home to all the big five. Return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive in the famous reserve. The Mara is mostly open flat grassland with long but thin grass and spotted with acacia trees. The Western edge of the Mara is formed by a geological fault throwing up the Esoit Escarpment. Three main rivers drain the area, the Sand, Talek, and Mara. It is at the crossing of these rivers that many of the famous images of the great migration are seen. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush while still in search of wildlife. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Explore the Mara

Take full advantage of all the Mara has to offer with an entire day to explore. The expertise and experience of our driver-guide will maximize your chances of seeing all the splendors of Masai Mara and beyond. A family of cheetahs sunning themselves sleepily on a rock, the drama of a lion making a kill just 15-20 feet away from you, or the thrill of an elephant charge. The trees in the distance turn out to be the giraffe’s family. The clump of bushes is a pride of lions. And the rock that moves may be a rhino lumbering out of your way. Proceed to the Mara River where you’ll enjoy a sumptuous picnic lunch at the river. In any event, the sheer mass and spectacle of the animals surrounding you will provide endless opportunities to fill many an album of treasured memories. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru Park

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru Park

Leaving the Maasai Mara after breakfast, you'll travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasai land. Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. The waters here were often colored shimmering flamingo pink, from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. After lunch at Ziwa Bush Lodge, depart for an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru - Amboseli Park

Enjoy early breakfast before we depart by road to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This park also shelters more than 420 species of birds, an enormous elephant population, and other big game that are attracted to the underground springs fed by the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Eat lunch at the lodge before departing on your planned afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Explore Amboseli Park

Awake early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. We will then set off on a game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeest to giraffes to baboons. You will eat breakfast after returning to the lodge and enjoy the lodge amenities like the sun-warmed waters in the swimming pool, you will eat lunch at the lodge at midday and enjoy an afternoon rest before going on another game drive.
Amboseli is home to the legendary Masai tribesmen. These warriors are a famous and proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in the evening.

Day 7

After breakfast check out of the lodge, enjoy the drive, and en route game drive as you head to Voi Safari Lodge for lunch. After lunch embark on a late afternoon game drive in the park. The park is arider than its Eastern counterpart, with arid bush and rock outcrops, such as the Mudanda Rock outcrop, 1.6 km long. The spectacular Yatta plateau, about 290 km long spills its lava flows into this park. A series of rapids, popularly known as Lugards Falls on the Galana River meander through the park.
Animals: The Park is home to most of the larger mammals, the red-skinned elephants, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk, and hirola. There are over 500 bird species in the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in the evening.
