Depart on a flight from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit Airport, arriving for your transfer to Kambaku Safari Lodge in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.

Kambaku Safari Lodge is designed for good times and is your home for the next five days and four nights. Expect wonderful safari accommodations, excellent facilities, and exceptional service to ensure a superb stay at Kambaku Safari Lodge.

In the afternoon, you will venture out on your first safari in the African bush, searching for wildlife, including the Big Five. Then, after three and a half to four hours, you return to the lodge for a scrumptious dinner.

Early Morning and Afternoon Game Drives

The mornings begin with an early wake-up call and a nice cup of brewed coffee or tea. Then, you venture out at dawn on a game drive in the hope of seeing an abundance of wildlife looking to drink from the water holes and rivers. Finally, you return to the lodge to enjoy a warm breakfast and have the rest of the morning to enjoy the lodge facilities or set off on an optional morning bush walk.

Later in the afternoon, you will set off on another exhilarating afternoon game drive with the hope of seeing some of the nocturnal wildlife in the reserve. Finally, you return to camp after witnessing the majestic African sunset and end the day with a perfectly prepared dinner under the African sky while recapping the day's events.

Depart from Timbavati Private Nature Reserve to Johannesburg

Today you venture out on one last morning game drive for some beautiful wildlife spotting. After you return to the lodge, breakfast is served, and you have some time to freshen up and pack your belongings before transferring to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg and then your onward travel arrangements.
