Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and drive you to Wilson Airport, where you will board your flight to Masai Mara. You will then be received at the airstrip and driven to your camp while enjoying a short game drive and arrive at your destination in time for lunch.
After some rest, you will head out for an afternoon game drive on the Masai Mara plains, returning to camp in time for dinner.

Day 2-3
Full-Day Game Drives in Masai Mara National Reserve
Full-Day Game Drives in Masai Mara National Reserve
For the two days, after breakfast, you will head out for full-day game drives where you can expect to see a significant number of wildlife—leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, wildebeest, hyenas, cheetahs, zebras as well as many bird species. You will enjoy a picnic lunch on day two, and on day three, you will return to camp for lunch before heading out to visit a Masai Village close to the park.

Masai Mara to Entebbe in Uganda
Masai Mara to Entebbe in Uganda
After breakfast, your driver will drop you off at the nearest airstrip, where you will board a plane to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will connect with the flight to Entebbe, Uganda. Our company representative will pick you up and drive you to your hotel in Entebbe.

Day 5
Flight to Kasese and Kibale National Park
Flight to Kasese and Kibale National Park
This morning after an early breakfast, your driver will drop you at the airport to catch your morning flight to Kasese Airstrip which is close to Kibale Forest National Park. You will be received by another driver who will drive you through the beautiful scenery to your lodge which is located very close to the forest, and this is where you are expected to have lunch. After lunch, you will be driven to the park headquarters where you will join other trackers who will have come for the afternoon trek. After a short briefing by one of the park officials, you will be allocated a ranger guide who will lead the group into the forest to find the chimpanzees. It is said that there are over 2000 chimpanzees in this forest making it one of the best places for chimpanzee trekking in Africa. You will be driven back to your lodge after the trek.

Day 6
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Kibale Forest for Bwindi and this drive will take you through the beautiful sceneries as well as the village en route. It is an interesting route where you will be driving through Queen Elizabeth National Park right from the northern side to the southern end of the park (Isahsha sector). This is where you will enjoy your picnic lunch. There are many chances of seeing wildlife like elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, kobs, topis as well as leopards and the tree climbing lions that are famous in this sector. After this, you will then proceed further south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is the only day of this trip that will include driving for more than 5 hours.

Day 7
Gorilla Trekking Experience
Gorilla Trekking Experience
Today is regarded as the highlight of the entire safari in Uganda! So, after breakfast, you will head out to the park's headquarters, where you have to get to by 7:30am. At the park, you will join other visitors for a briefing by one of the park's officials. Now, it is time to go into the forest! You will accompany the lead guide to find the gorilla family you will be allocated to. The round trip may take between two to seven hours, depending on where your gorilla family is.

Fly to Entebbe International Airport
Fly to Entebbe International Airport
After breakfast, your driver guide will ensure you get to the airstrip on time to catch the plane to Entebbe International Airport. And here, depending on your departure time, you may wait at the airport or check in at a hotel in Entebbe for a day room.
This will mark the end of your nine-day safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve and chimpanzee and gorilla trekking adventure.
