Arrival at Motlala Game Lodge
Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport at the start of the tour. Guests will take another short forty-minute flight to Eastgate Airport, Hoedspruit. At Eastgate Airport, guests will be welcomed by our cheerful guides who will take them in 4x4 open-sided safari vehicles to Motlala Lodge.

Full Kruger National Park Experience
Early mornings are ideal for sightings of predators like lions and leopards, who are either still active from a night’s hunt or just settling in for the day.
After a couple of hours, you’ll break for a mid-morning bush breakfast at one of Kruger’s picnic spots or rest camps.
Back on the trails, your guide may focus on exploring different ecosystems.
As you set out for the afternoon drive, the excitement builds once more. Guides may head to riverbanks or specific watering holes where wildlife gathers in the afternoon.
As the sun begins to set, the park’s landscape transforms under a warm, golden glow. Late afternoon and early evening bring a renewed burst of activity among wildlife, with animals moving to waterholes or beginning their evening routines.
With nightfall approaching, you’ll head back to the lodge.

Panorama Route Exploration
Morning: Blyde River Canyon and Three Rondavels
After breakfast, you’ll set out toward the Panorama Route, where your first stop is the Blyde River Canyon. As one of the largest canyons in the world. The Three Rondavels, named for their resemblance to traditional African huts, are iconic rock formations overlooking the canyon and the surrounding valley.
Mid-Morning: Bourke’s Luck Potholes
Next, you’ll head to Bourke’s Luck Potholes, a fascinating geological site where centuries of swirling water have carved smooth, circular holes into the rock at the confluence of the Treur and Blyde Rivers.
Late Morning: God’s Window
After exploring the potholes, the journey continues to God’s Window, a viewpoint perched high on the cliffs.
Lunch: Graskop
By lunchtime, you’ll arrive in the small town of Graskop, known for its charming eateries and local crafts. Enjoy a delicious lunch.
Late Afternoon: Return to Camp
As the afternoon winds down, you’ll start the drive back to the lodge.

Conclude your luxury safari with an early morning quadbike safari, appreciating some of the details you missed during your stay. After breakfast, bid farewell to Motlala Lodge with a heart full of memories. You will be transferred by road to Eastgate Airport for a flight to Johannesburg International Airport.
