Day 1

Welcome to Zimbabwe, we will meet and greet you at the Victoria Falls International Airport, followed by a road transfer to the lodge for check-in as well as having the full tour briefing. At 3:30 p.m., you will be picked for the Zambezi sunset cruise. Our boat captain will take you on a journey of discovery as you sail on the upper channels of the Zambezi River. It’s time to unwind and enjoy the serene environment, finger-picking snacks, and refreshments as your vessel meanders through various channels on the Mighty Zambezi. After the cruise, you will be transferred to the lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Exploring Victoria Falls

At 6:00 a.m., you will start off with a game drive. Tea will be served at a vantage point in the park. The game drive ends around 9:00 a.m. and you will be transferred back to the lodge for breakfast. At 10:30 a.m., you will be picked up for your next activity, a scenic flight above Victoria Falls which will give you an aerial view of this mighty wonder. Afterward, it will be time for the guided tour of Victoria Falls. You will visit one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. On this tour, you will walk with a professional tour guide, who will share information on the falls as you walk side by side with this breathtaking wonder! You will visit all 16 vantage points and this tour takes about an hour and a half to two hours depending on your walking pace.

AT 7:00 p.m., you will be picked up for a boma dinner, dance, and drum show entertainment.

Day 3

Transfer from Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park

Today after breakfast, you will check out of your rooms and you will be transferred to Chobe National Park in Botswana. The drive to Botswana is 75 km from Victoria Falls. That will take about 1 hour of safe driving. You are required to have money to pay for their visas. On arrival at the border, you will be assisted with immigration formalities and drive to the lodge for check-in. The first activity will be the safari boat cruise along the Chobe River at 3:00 p.m. The activity will take 3 hours. During the activity, snacks, and drinks are at the cash bar. By sunset, you will make your way to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this day, you will do a morning game drive. The pick-up time is early so that we enhance the chances of seeing cats when they will still be hunting. The game drive will take 3 hours which will allow more opportunity to see wildlife which include elephants, antelopes, buffalos, impalas, and many others. You will return to the lodge to have breakfast and check out.

You will drive to Elephant Sands Lodge which is approximately 260 km from Kasane. This lodge is located in the park which is home to elephants as the name suggests. On arrival, you will have lunch (own account) and rest by the pool. An afternoon activity is available at the guides’ recommendation.

Your dinner and overnight stay is at the lodge.

Ntwetwe Pan Overnight Adventure Includes Meerkat Visit

Set off from Gweta Lodge to our fully equipped and exclusive camp on the Ntwetwe Salt pan where you can settle down around a roaring campfire in time to watch the most spectacular African sunset!

Guests are then served a 3-course meal around a candlelit dining table while enjoying the solitude of the salt pan.

Guests can then head off for bed to snuggle down into their warm and cozy bedrolls whilst watching the night sky pass right above their heads (our overnights are a favorite with astronomers and anyone keen to see the Milky Way in all its glory)!

The next morning after breakfast guests is taken to see our habituated Meerkat colony as they emerge from their burrow to enjoy the warm morning sun.

We can also include a ride on the saltpans with quad bikes for those who enjoy an adrenaline rush!

Day 6

Okavango Delta

Early morning, you will be picked for a game drive to Ntwentwe Pan and discover the unique desert–adapted species that inhabit the lunar-like landscape. You will get up and close and personal with the meerkats. You will return to the hotel and check out then be transferred by road, traveling to Maun town which is 200 km driving safely through the park. The expected time of arrival is 2:00 p.m. Your check-in will be at Cresta Maun Lodge. You will settle in your rooms after check-in.

Lunch will be at the hotel. In the afternoon, you can do optional activities at your own cost.

Into the Channels of the Okavango delta
.
In the early morning around 07:30hrs you will be picked at your hotel 45mins to 1h outside of Maun in a
small local village in the Okavango Delta, you meet a guide/poler who will take you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. We support the local community in the Okavango Delta. The experienced polers take you on a Mokoro/ Dug Canoe into the wetlands of the Okavango Delta. Gently float downstream and observe the local wildlife. Stop at one of the islands for lunch and go on a guided nature walk to see more animals. Feel the peace and tranquility of the Okavango surrounded by hippos and serenaded by the abundant bird life, before heading towards Moremi. You will be joined by a local tracker for a special experience, a night game drive. With a bit of luck and a strong torch, we hopefully see nocturnal animals. We overnight in the bush with the sounds of the wild around us.

Moremi Game Reserve Safari Trip

After a night in the bush, you wake up to an early morning start. A short game drive followed by a light
breakfast and then we head deeper into the bush. We spend the whole day in Moremi Game Reserve. We enter the park through South Gate and immediately start the game viewing on a drive going into the Lagoon. From here we continue up north. How far you go is flexible and depends on sightings and what you decide with your guide. For lunch you have a short break with picnic lunch (packed lunch) in the bush. Then you continue your game drive until you return to Maun where you will arrive in the evening with plenty of pictures and unforgettable memories.
