Day 1

A Gemfinders Safaris driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport at 7:00 a.m. and brief you on your safari. Depart for Amboseli National Park, traveling along the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway with a brief stop at Emali Town. Enjoy scenic views of the vast Athi Plains before turning toward Amboseli.

Arrive at Nyati Safari Camp around 12:00 p.m., where you’ll check in and enjoy lunch. After some rest, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Amboseli National Park. Encounter large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and other wildlife against the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit Observation Hill for sweeping views of the park’s plains and swamps teeming with life.

As the sun sets, return to Nyati Safari Camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, preparing for more adventures ahead.

Day 2

Amboseli NP - Tsavo West National Park

Amboseli NP - Tsavo West National Park

​Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park from 6:00 am to 9:30 am, observing wildlife during their most active period. For an enhanced experience, you can optionally have a hot air balloon safari.

At around 10:00 am - 11:am, visit a nearby Maasai village (optional, extra cost) for an hour to engage with the community and learn about their traditions. Following the optional village visit, check out from your accommodation and depart for Tsavo West National Park, renowned for its volcanic hills and dense vegetation.

Enjoy a packed lunch en route, arriving at the park in the early afternoon. Upon arrival, visit Mzima Springs, a series of crystal-clear pools inhabited by hippos and crocodiles. Continue with a guided game drive, seeking out leopards, rhinos, elephants, and diverse birdlife. Drop off at 7:00 pm concluding your day with dinner and an overnight stay at Man Eaters Lodge.

After an early breakfast, head to Tsavo East National Park. On arrival, set out on a morning game drive, traversing the vast savannah and spotting the park’s diverse wildlife, including the iconic red-dust elephants. Enjoy a packed lunch inside the park or return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, continue with another exciting game drive before returning to Man Eaters Lodge for your overnight stay.
