You’ll meet our safari coordination at Kilimanjaro International Airport (or Arusha Airport) upon arrival and then be transferred to Mount Meru Hotel. You’ll participate in a briefing on your upcoming safari and then enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you and your safari will begin! It will take two hours to drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is spectacular in any season and many of the migratory wildlife species can be found at the Tarangire River’s permanent waters. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and oryx gather until the onset of the rain, when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Manyara Safari Lodge.

After breakfast in the early morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Commonly seen animals in this park include zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and warthogs—among many others, Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Farms of Dream Lodge on full board.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

Today you’ll proceed to Serengeti National Park. We’ll drive up the crater highlands and stop at the rim along the way. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili. The 18,000 sq. km park is inhabited by more than two million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, plains zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, and large predators—including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

After some en route game driving you’ll check-in at your camp and then go on an afternoon game drive in the world’s most famous park: the Serengeti. Once you return, you will dine at the camp and the evening will be yours to enjoy.

You’ll spend the full day on a game drive in the Serengeti. You overnight stay will be at the Into Wild Africa Camp. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax inhabit this area, along with nearly 500 species of birds. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Highlands

Ngorongoro Highlands

Today you will wake up very early to do a safari before breakfast. This way you can spot animals when they are more active and watch the sunrise, which is is one of the most beautiful experiences you can have.

After the game drive, you’ll return to the camp to transfer to Ngorongoro, which is the eighth natural wonder of the world. With walls 2,000 ft. high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 sq. miles, the crater is a virtual Noah’s Ark. It is inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino.

The crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake (that from the top looks like a stream) full of flamingoes, forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Day 7

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After an early breakfast you’ll descend onto the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth. After a stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake and some more game viewing in the afternoon, we’ll drive up the steep road out of the crater and return to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at the airport.
