Day 1

Explore Nxai Pan National Park

Nxai Pan National Park is situated roughly 160 km east of Maun. Nxai and Makgadikgadi Pans National Parks are defined by vast baobab-dotted salt pans. Historically great rivers from the north fed into the prehistoric mega lake Makgadikgadi, changing weather patterns over time have altered the situation drastically, leaving behind the familiar salt pans and broad fossil river valleys. Nxai Pans National Park is home to the famous Baines baobabs.
> You will be picked up from your lodge by your guide in the morning.
> You'll embark on a 160 km journey on a tarmac to the Nxai Pans National Park entrance.
> You'll stop along the way for a packed breakfast.
> Upon entering the reserve, you will do a very slow game drive toward your designated wilderness camping site.
> You'll make a stopover for a packed lunch inside the park.

Day 2

Explore Nxai Pan National Park

Explore Nxai Pan National Park

You'll explore the vast Nxai Salt Pans and visit the famous Baines Baobab.
> You'll wake up early for coffee/tea, Juice, cereals, and fruits.
> You'll embark on a morning drive to spot different wildlife species found in Nxai pans as well as be mesmerized by the beautiful landscapes of the pans.
> You will make a stopover for a cup of coffee/tea and Rusks at Baines Baobab.
> You'll get back to camp and have a full breakfast.
> After breakfast, you can grab a book and read under the shade or go to your tent for a nap.
> Lunch will be served in camp. Thereafter, you will have enough time to relax before going for an afternoon game drive.
> You'll explore more on the afternoon game drive.
> You will stop along the way for a sundowner

Day 3

Explore Makgadikgadi National Park

Explore Makgadikgadi National Park

Explore Makgadikgadi. On this day, you will wake up early in the morning and be served breakfast. Immediately after that, you'll embark on a journey out of Nxai Pans National Park to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The drive can take you between 4 and 5 hours to reach your designated wilderness camping site. The first 2 hours will be a slow game drive out of Nxai and another 30-minute drive from Nxai Pans National Park Gate to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park Gate. After entering the Makgadikgadi, you'll embark on another 2-hour slow game drive towards the camp.
> Wake up early for coffee/tea, Juice, cereals, and fruits.
> Stopover for packed breakfast.
> Stop over for a packed lunch before reaching the camp.
> Arrive at the camp and settle in/ freshen up.
> Go on a sundowner drive.
> Have a warm dinner served in camp.
> Sit around the fire or go to bed.

You will explore the Boteti River.
> You'll wake up early for coffee/tea, Juice, cereals and fruits
> You'll start a morning game drive along the Boteti River. The drive will take 3 to 4 hours depending on the sightings
> Breakfast will be served in the camp.
> After breakfast, you can grab a book and read, take a nap, or just relax under the shade listening to calls around you.
> Lunch is served afterward.
> You'll freshen up before going for the afternoon game drive.
> After the drive, you will be served dinner at the camp.
> After dinner, you will have time to hang around with the staff and your guide to discuss and share experiences.

Day 5

Explore Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Explore Central Kalahari Game Reserve

You'll be wowed by the beautiful landscapes of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, as well as the diversity of species in this harsh environment. As you drive in this reserve, it is very normal to see the rare bat-eared foxes trotting across the open pans and ground squirrels busy with their daily activities for survival or be mesmerized by a herd of springboks or gemsboks as they graze in the open plains. The herbivores attract cats. In this reserve always be on the lookout for lions, leopards, cheetahs, or other small carnivores especially the black-backed jackals peacefully trotting and stopping to look for rodents and bird eggs in the open plains.
> You'll wake up early for breakfast.
> You'll embark on a 4-5 hour drive to Matswere gate (CKGR).
> Upon entering the reserve, you'll do a slow game drive toward our designated wilderness camping site.
> You'll stop for a packed lunch before reaching the camp.
> You'll freshen up at the camp and go for a short drive then dinner.

Explore Deception Valley, Leopard Pan, and Sunday Water Hole

On this day, you will have time to explore the home of the black-maned lions. You will explore the Deception pan, Leopard pan, and Sunday hole and pan. The idea is to do a day excursion.
> You'll wake up early for coffee/tea, Juice, cereals, and fruits.
> You'll do a morning drive around Deception Pan before heading to Leopard Pan.
> You'll stop for a packed breakfast before reaching Leopard Pan.
> You'll do a drive around Leopard Pan.
> You'll head to Sunday Water Hole.
> You'll stop for your packed lunch after leaving Sunday Hole.
> You'll do a slow afternoon drive towards Deception Pan.
> Complete the day's activities by driving around Deception.
> You will be served dinner in the camp after the drive.
> After dinner, you will have time to sit around the fire with our team and your guide then introspect on the whole tour, and share experiences on nature, history, and culture before going to bed.
