Drive to Murchison Falls National Park and rhinos
Start the drive to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park. This park is one of Uganda’s largest conservation areas and boasts 76 mammal species and 451 bird species that thrive in the open savannah and tropical forests. You will have an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the southern white rhinos. While here, you participate in walking safari to the rhinos. After lunch, continue to the park and proceed to your lodge.

Game drive and launch cruise on the falls
After an early breakfast, proceed to enjoy a game drive. Drive in the open African savanna in search of lion, leopard, hyena, buffalo, elephant, Jackson's hartebeest, oribi, waterbuck, and Uganda kob, and enjoy spotting various bird species. This is a beautiful drive across the savannah, borassus palm forest, and grassland down to Lake Albert. In the afternoon, take a boat ride to the bottom of the falls. Enjoy these spectacular falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gap. Thereafter, drive back to the lodge.

Drive to Kibale National Park
Drive to Kibale Forest National Park. This diverse forest boasts 13 species of primates such as the red colobus monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkey, and the rare L’Hoest's monkey. There are over 335 bird species in the park, including some which are rare and endemic to the Albertine region and varying tracts of the tropical forest. You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening and check in at your accommodation, relax and enjoy dinner.

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Swamp walk
After breakfast, you will take part in chimpanzee trekking and enjoy the sounds and experience this wonderful forest with these habituated chimpanzees.. These engaging apes are the closest species to human beings and are great to watch as they are playful both on the ground and in the trees. You will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, go for a walk in the Bigodi Wetland where you will have a chance to see different primates and bird species, especially the great blue turaco which is popular in this area. You will also get to know the communities nearby and learn about their projects.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is one of Uganda's most popular parks, offering scenic game drives. It has a wide variety of wild animals and over 600 bird species, incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savannah to wetlands and lowland forests. We then proceed to the lodge.

Game drive and boat ride on Kazinga Channel
Have an early morning game drive where you get a chance to see a variety of animals in the park including lion, hippo, buffalo, leopard, spotted hyena, elephant, and the elusive giant forest hog and different species of birds. You will also have a chance to visit the salt lakes in Katwe before returning to the lodge. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. Here, you will have a chance to see different animals coming to the water, as well as a variety of bird species. Later, you return to the lodge.

Tree-climbing lions and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will have an en-route visit to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth, the Ishasha sector. This area is known for its resident tree-climbing lions which are an exceptional attraction in the park. You will have a brief game drive in search of them before driving to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the largest population of mountain gorillas and hosts a variety of spectacular birds including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including the blue-throated broadbill, bar-tailed trogon, and other beautiful forest species. Proceed to the lodge for check-in. You will go to bed earlier this evening so that you are well-rested for a thrilling experience of gorilla trekking the next day.

Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you will have an orientation and meet your guides for the day. Trekking the mountain gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 7 hours but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the gorillas. The trekking is a challenging thrill as you hike through the forest to find the gorillas. Once you reach a gorilla family, you will have a chance to observe them in close proximity for an hour.
At an extra cost; choose to visit the Batwa Pygmy community nearby and projects.

Drive to Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park
Today, you will drive to the border and cross into Rwanda, proceed to drive to Volcanoes National Park. The journey goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that show much of Rwanda’s landscape, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome Virunga Volcanoes, sometimes with as many as five peaks visible. Proceed to the lodge for check-in.

Optional activities in the park
Today, you have a chance to choose what optional activity to participate in while staying here. These activities are listed below;
Trek the Mountain Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, visit habituated Golden monkeys, Hike Mt Bisoke (3,711M), visit the grave of the famous gorilla researcher Dian Fossey or take a drive to Gisenyi town on Lake Kivu where you will take a walk through the fashionable lakeside resort and have a boat ride on the Lake and then return to the Lodge for an overnight stay.

Departure
You will drive back to Kigali. time allowing, enjoy a brief city tour including a visit to the Genocide Museum in the suburb of Gisozi. Proceed to Kigali international Airport to take your onward departure flight back home.
