Dar es Salaam - Nyerere National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked up by your guide at the place of your stay in Dar es Salaam Tanzania around 6:00 am. You will drive for almost 5 hours to Nyerere National Park. On arrival in the afternoon at your lodge, you will participate in a boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River where you will spot plenty of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.

Later, you will proceed to your lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Nyerere National Park

You'll enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in the reserve. You'll participate in some classic–style game drives exploring the bush in open 4x4 vehicles.

Waterbucks, southern reedbucks, and brushbacks are common in the Nyerere.
Rare sable antelopes, lions, and greater kudu are also frequent in this area. Your meals and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

You'll depart from Nyerere towards Mikumi National Park.

Then, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mikumi National Park - Dar es Salaam

An early breakfast at the lodge or camp is followed by morning game drives which take you till lunchtime. After lunch, you will be driven back to Dar es Salaam. It will take 5 hrs to drive back to Dar es Salaam where you will be dropped off at the place of your choice.
