Day 1

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast we depart for a game drive. Your safari guide will come to pick you up from the hotel.

The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season.

The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After a picnic lunch we do an afternoon game drive. Then you will leave the Tarangire area and head towards the Great Rift Valley.

Overnight stay will be at the Lodge in Karatu town.

Day 2

Hadzabe tribe, Lake Eyasi

Hadzabe tribe, Lake Eyasi

This morning very early you will drive to Lake Eyasi Area where you will have the opportunity to walk with a Bushmen Tribe in the Village around the Lake Eyasi. The Bushman (also known as the Wahadzabe tribe) still maintain their traditional hunter- gatherer way of life.
Around the same area, you will find the Datoga. Watch them perform their blacksmith duties. Both tribes using the local methods applied it the Stone Age era. A visit to the village will be led by a local guide who will describe their lifestyle. The Bushman will make fire from sticks and will show you their very few belongings.

They will take you on a simulated hunt in the area with their bows and arrows, and visitors can try a little target practice. The visit may be concluded with a traditional singing and dancing. After that you will pay the Datoga tribe a short visit to watch them doing their work and get a brief to their lives. In the afternoon you will be drive to Karatu town for relaxing and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive inside the crater. Ngorongoro is a large volcanic caldera that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a huge variety of animals. As you descend into the crater there is the feeling of entering a truly special place. The landscape is a mixture of forest, lakes and wide open plains that make it a perfect place for animal watching.

Among the animals you can see here are black rhinoceros, lion, cheetah, hyena, jackal, hippos and many others. After a game drive you will have a picnic lunch at a site on the floor of the crater.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

After a nice breakfast we will drive you into the Part of the Serengeti National Park, trying to see where the migration takes place. This is always different depending on the time of the year. The Serengeti National Park is home to the migration of massive numbers of wildebeest and zebra as they move into Kenya’s Massai Mara. The Serengeti is considered to be the best place in the world to see the magical lion up close.
You will also see a great range of other wildlife. As we drive into the centre of the park we will stop for a picnic lunch.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Tukaone Serengeti Tented Camp
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Today you will leave early morning, game viewing on the way out of the Serengeti National Park.
Mto Wa Mbu is your next and last destination, a town located around the Lake Manyara Area.

Bustling with a variety of cultures from around Tanzania, the little town of Mto Wa Mbu lies at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park. A local agricultural hub, the town is famous for its crops of rice and the distinctive red bananas that Tanzania is known for.

We will take you around to experience the real Tanzanian life, have a local lunch and maybe even a short soccer game with some enthusiastic kids.

Depending on your departure, you will leave for the airport.
