Nairobi - Masai Mara

Our safari representative will pick you up at the hotel at 07h00 and depart to Masai Mara at 07h15 via Naivasha. Have a stopover at the Rift Valley viewpoint and arrive at Ashnil Camp in time for a hot lunch and rest. Later on, you will head out for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.

Masai Mara

After breakfast, leave for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and is one of the few places where you have the chance to see the “Big 5” during an early morning game drive. Many cheetahs are so accustomed to the safari vehicles that they seek shelter from the hot sun under them and even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For bird enthusiasts, almost 500 species have been recorded. These include 16 species of eagle, many hawk and falcon, 6 species of vulture, 8 species of stork, 4 of bustard, and 9 species of sunbird. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.
