It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, ostriches, warthogs, and acacia savannah. Our safari guide will drive you out of the crowd to enjoy your game drive. He will drive you close to the Tarangire River looking for animals who drink during that time.
