2 travelers on Start dateEarly in the morning around 5 a.m., you will be picked up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam and start a drive to Mikumi National Park Via Morogoro. You will stop at Camp Bastian where you will have a fresh lunch before you proceed with the game drive in the park. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth largest national park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Within its 3230 sq km, it is set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, and many more just to mention a few. Tanzania has 2 circuits of wildlife attractions which are the North and South circuits. Mikumi is in the southern circuits and is the gate to other southern parks.
You will have 4 to 5 hours of game driving and thereafter you will return to Camp Bastian for your transfer to Dar es Salaam.
