Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, your driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall with a board with your name on it. You will be transferred to your hotel in Stone Town while waiting in anticipation of the upcoming adventure. You will retire for the night at Jafferji House & Spa.

Day 2
Stone Town Tour & Prison Island
Stone Town Tour & Prison Island
Stone Town, also called Mji Mkongwe (old town in Swahili), is the mythical fundamental town of Unguja Island. Visit historical sites through the narrow alleys of the old stone city. The tour includes the former slave market site, which now stands as the Anglican Church built in 1873, the town market, the House of Wonder built in 1883, Beit-al-Ajab, the old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian Dispensary, as well as the market in Darajani which bustles with locals selling fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruits. From there, we’ll visit the palace of the former Sultan of Zanzibar, the "Hamamni Persian Bath", and the Old Fort which is next to the "House of Wonders".
You will take a local boat to arrive at Changuu Island (Prison Island), formerly known as a slave prison. You will get to walk around the island, known for its slave history. You can also swim here and take pictures with giant turtles. Overnight will be at Jafferji House & Spa.

Day 3
Zanzibar - Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport with arrival at 9:00 AM. Upon arrival, you will meet your safari vehicle and head to Tarangire National Park where you will have lunch.
Tarangire NP is Tanzania’s third-largest national park and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, and up to 6,000 elephant. Dinner and overnight will be at Country Lodge.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater - Fly out to Zanzibar

After breakfast at Country Lodge, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch). The crater is often described as one of the Wonders of the World. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in its natural setting.
As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2,000-ft-high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species. With a bit of luck, the "Big Five’" can be spotted during a single game drive. After lunch in the park, we proceed to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.

You will spend the day enjoying the beautiful weather, beaches, and amazing environment at the hotel. In the morning you are woken up by the sound of waves of the Indian Ocean. You open your eyes, slowly get up and enjoy the blissful atmosphere of doing nothing. As you look out of the window, you can see the picturesque landscape – an exotic beach, silky-soft white sand, and turquoise water that gently washes it away. You go out on the balcony and take a deep breath. You don’t have to hurry anywhere. Everything you need is here for you.

Today we say goodbye to you. You will get a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather and the amazing environment at the hotel while having enough rest and time to prepare for a transfer to Zanzibar International Airport. You can make use of a day room at Casa Beach Hotel.
