Day 1

Early in the morning after breakfast, our safari representative will pick you up from your Arusha hotel and drive 120 km to Tarangire National Park, which spans 2,850 sq km. Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes. After a picnic lunch, you will proceed with the afternoon game viewing. Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, along with lions, leopards, buffalos, pythons, zebras, oryx, impalas, and over 450 species of birds. After an extensive game drive in the evening you will drive back to your accommodation at Farm of Dreams Karatu.

This scenic drive, taking approximately 3 to 4 hours, offers stunning views shaped by the tectonic forces that formed the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. After exploring the gorge, continue to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive. The crater is also home to colorful flamingos, a variety of water birds, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous antelope species. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha or be dropped off at the airport for your onward journey.
