Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam and depart for Mikumi National Park, where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will take off on your first game drive in the park! The park is home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalos, wildebeest, eland, hartebeest, crocodiles, and lizards of all kinds. Over 300 bird species are also resident in the park. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian Mikumi later in the evening.

Mikumi National Park

After breakfast at Camp Bastian Mikumi, you depart for a morning and afternoon game drive to various areas in Mikumi National Park. Lunch will be a picnic in the park. The sites you will visit today include Mkata, Chamgore (the place of the python), and Mkata Floodplain. Finally, drive back for dinner and overnight stay at Camp Bastian Mikumi on a full-board basis.
