Trekking to see the chimpanzees at Kibale Forest National Park can be exhilarating. While sighting them in dense forest can be challenging, here it’s not too dense and they sometimes come to the ground, to watch them cavorting in the tree tops, their all-too-human characteristics to the fore, makes this an exceptionally rewarding half-day excursion. After which we shall drive to Buhoma where we shall have a night. The drive goes through the Ishasha sector and Maramagambo forest and you can have a chance to sight some of the savanna big game on transit.
