Today, you will be picked up from the airport or your hotel and given a pre-departure briefing before you start your safari. You'll drive through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Narok county the land of Maa people. Masai Mara National Reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. It is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. The intercounty borders are what have separated the two great national parks. You'll arrive for lunch at the lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. Masai Mara National Reserve thrills within the Mara Ecosystem that includes the Mara triangle, and other conservancies like Ol Chorro Oirowua, Ol Derkesi, Lemek, Maji Moto, Siana, Naikara, Koiyaki, and North Mara. Masai Mara National Reserve is also part of the greater ecosystem that extends to Serengeti National Park in the northern part of Tanzania.

On the second day, you will wake up. You'll have your morning breakfast ready to be served. Today, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in the reserve, with your picnic lunch. Masai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The Mara Triangle bordering the Mara River with lush grassland and acacia woodlands, is always good for game drives. The Mara is perhaps best known for the great migration, which takes place every year from July to September. During these months, the yellow savannah is dotted black by more than 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes that migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara in search of food and water.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park
You will wake up for a morning breakfast. Then, you'll depart to Lake Nakuru National Park one of the best national parks in Kenya given that it has one of the Rift Valley soda Lakes. On arrival, you'll get a welcome and be shown to your room. After lunch, you'll take a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, which is well known as a bird lover’s hub because of the numerous birds that make home in this park. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to over 400 bird species including the flamingos that live on the lake and in the park’s savannah grasslands. The bird species include but are not limited to African fish eagle, slender-billed greenbul, long-tailed widowbird, rufous-throated wryneck, montane white-eye, red-capped lark, Northern puffback, Rüppell’s robin-chat, shining sunbird and many more.

Lake Nakuru National Park - Amboseli National Park
You will depart to Amboseli via Nairobi in the morning after breakfast. You'll drive south through Maasai County to the plains below Mt Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. A scenic park in its own right, Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. After a picnic lunch en route with the majestic backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife animals such as lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalos, and various plains plateaus game can be seen. Postcard-perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. Finally, you will return to your hotel.

You'll have an early morning wake-up with your breakfast ready. Today, you will have your packed lunch for a full-day game drive. You'll proceed with more game drives in the park with a packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes. Amboseli National Park is one of the best-known wildlife destinations in Kenya, primarily for excellent sightings of elephants in the big marshy area and the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Observation Hill offers the best vistas). You'll chase the perfect sight of a massive gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli National Park - Namanga - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will drive out of the park with the view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Then, you'll drive to the border of Tanzania and Kenya at the Namanga border. After the immigration clearance, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park. One of the lesser-known game reserves in Tanzania, Tarangire rivals the Serengeti in its great number and diversity of wildlife. It is a good choice for travelers who wish to encounter more animals and fewer tourists while on safari. The Tarangire National Park is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of animals, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of scenic baobab trees.

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania what the Masai Mara National Reserve is to Kenya. You will have a game drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is considered Tanzania's best park. Big herds of buffalos, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and many antelopes, such as elands, topi, kongoni, and impalas are resident at any time of the year. All three big cats are easily seen. Lions are often found on a kill. Cheetahs are very common on the southeastern plains, while leopards can typically be found lazing in one of the big trees along the Seronera River. More than 350 species of birds, including ostriches, vultures, and flamingos in a lesser number and not easy to spot, have also been recorded.

Today, you will head back for a full-day game drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania what the Masai Mara National Reserve is to Kenya. The richly diverse habitat, one species stands out from all others, as it is the foundation of the wildlife ecosystem in the Serengeti. With herds reaching over one million, it is the wildebeest that affects many other species. Often called the Serengeti Clown, the wildebeests are magnificently endowed, ready for their endless search of rich grasslands and freshwater. Alongside this massive population of wildebeest, co-exist other herbivores, equally drawn by the rich and varied vegetation of the Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park – Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport
You'll have an early morning breakfast at seven thirty in the morning. Then, you'll embark to the lodge to pack and check out. Depending on your preference choice of the airport, you will be driven back to Arusha or (Kilimanjaro Airport) for your Zanzibar Island air transfer or back home. This will be the end of our trip!
