You'll leave Nairobi in the morning at 8.00 am and drive to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok then to Masai Mara for lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests. Dinner and your overnight stay at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 2

The whole day will be spent in the game viewing and exploring the park’s high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals including the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. In the afternoon, an optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged, the entrance fee is not included in the package. Here you will be welcomed by the locals singing and dancing, a sacred ritual that has formed their rich tradition. Part of the tour includes a glimpse to their local homes and way of life.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

Wake up very early, ready for the morning game drive inside the Masai Mara, an opportunity to spot animals that you might have not seen in the previous drive. Return to the camp for a full breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of the Rift valley.
Arrive at the pink lake in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the several Rift Valley lakes that its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos and other water birds as the major attractions of the area. Other than birds, 56 different species of mammals exist in this ecosystem including white rhino and buffaloes.
Most interestingly, all the big five except elephant are here as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo, waterbuck, spotted hyena among others. This park is rich with over 350 bird species.
After the adventurous drive, you will return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

Have a short morning drive as you exit the park and a long, easy drive to the Amboseli awaits you today.

There shall be stops to view the Great Rift Valley and other scenic spots along the safari route. Stop and enjoy lunch at a restaurant along the way

You'll have a short game viewing drive with possible views of the Mount Kilimanjaro peaks at Amboseli if the weather permits.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Aa Lodge Amboseli.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, you will have a whole day of adventure in the park. As per your choice, you will either have a full day game drive or morning and afternoon game drives. This park is home of great herds of elephants and with a backdrop of the beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro which makes it a favorite spot for photographers. Enjoy the spotting of the unique animals found in the beautiful, scenic park such as cheetah, lion, and leopard.
At an extra cost, you can choose to visit the local communities in their nearby villages. Return to your Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, leave the semi-luxury camp for the last game drive in the park as you leave the Amboseli for Nairobi with hot lunch served en-route. You'll be arriving in Nairobi late in the afternoon with sweet memories. You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport. We can make arrangements to connect Mombasa bound buses midway or by train.
