Exploring the Panorama Route

You’ll embark on a breathtaking tour of the Panorama Route, one of South Africa’s most scenic drives, known for its dramatic landscapes, towering cliffs, and iconic viewpoints.
Blyde River Canyon Boat Cruise
The morning starts with a boat cruise on the Blyde River, offering a unique perspective of the world’s third-largest canyon.
Next, you’ll head to God’s Window, an aptly named viewpoint offering sweeping vistas over lush valleys, forests, and distant mountains. On clear days, you can see all the way to the Lowveld, and even as far as Mozambique.
A short drive brings you to the Three Rondavels, another famous viewpoint overlooking the Blyde River Canyon. Named for their resemblance to traditional African round huts, these massive rock formations rise dramatically from the canyon floor.
The day’s final stop is Bourke’s Luck Potholes, a fascinating geological site where centuries of swirling water have carved out cylindrical holes in the rock.
