You will be picked up and taken to your first site, the Materuni waterfalls. On the way, your guide will give you some information about the local Chagga people and their culture, while also describing the surrounding fauna and flora. Once you reach the waterfall, take in the breathtaking views and if you are lucky, you will be able to see the summit of Kilimanjaro. The falls drop 80 meters into a clear pool at the bottom, inviting you for a refreshing swim.
You will then head to a local village for the chance to experience a traditional Chagga lunch where you can taste the local banana beer and sample the local coffee. Enjoy the surrounding views and later head back to your lodge for some dinner and a good nights rest.
Materuni Waterfalls - Mkomazi National Park
After breakfast you will head to Mkomazi National Park, traveling with Mount Kilimanjaro to the northwest and with the Pare and Usambara Mountains to the South. The park, together with Tsavo National Park in Kenya, form the landmass that allows migrating herds of elephant, oryx and zebra to pass between the two regions during the wet season. The combined area forms the largest protected ecosystems on earth.
Mkomazi National Park stands out from all other national parks in the country for its black rhinoceros sanctuary and their captive-breeding program for the African wild dog. You will get the chance to see both of these magnificent animals during your visit. There is also over 450 bird species inhabiting the park which provide excellent sightings too.

Mkomazi National Park - Tarangire National Park
Today you will make your way to the Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobab trees, bush savannah and seasonal marshlands, all adding to the magnificent diversity of the reserve. The park is also considered one of the best places to see elephants up close.
From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to take in the beautiful landscapes and watch all the animals on offer, which include Africa’s big cats. In the late afternoon you will leave the park and drive to the lodge, where you will overnight after a delicious dinner.

Tarangire National Park- Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will travel back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to make your way into the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth. You will descend into the massive crater that creates a natural enclosure that is home to over 25,000 mammals, including the big five and more than 500 bird species.
After an extensive game drive and a picnic for lunch, you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and head to your lodge for dinner and a good nights rest.

Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park
Today you will visit your final reserve en-route back to Arusha. Visit Lake Manyara National Park, dominated by the massive soda lake that attracts large colonies of water birds. Particularly impressive are the flamingos which paint the horizon pink. A total of about 400 different bird species live in the park.
The park is also famous for its tree climbing lions, which are usually found in the central part of the park. During the safari you will also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos and many other animal species before heading back in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
