Day 1

You'll be picked up from your hotel and commence the drive via Karatina and crossing the equator at Nanyuki, en route to Samburu National Reserve. You'll have lunch at the lodge and a late afternoon wildlife-viewing drive.

Samburu National Reserve is on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro River in Kenya. It is 165 km2 (64 sq mi) in size and is 350 km (220 mi) from Nairobi. It ranges in elevation from 800 to 1,230 m (2,620 to 4,040 ft).[1] Geographically and administratively, it is part of Samburu County.

In the middle of the reserve, the Ewaso Ng'iro flows through doum palm groves and thick riverine forests. It provides water without which the animals in this arid region could not survive.

Samburu National Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness, made famous in the best-selling book and award-winning movie Born Free. Samburu National Reserve is also the home of Kamunyak, a lioness famous for adopting oryx calves.

Day 2

After breakfast, you'll commence the drive to Nyeri for lunch at Outspan Hotel or Aberdare Country Club. In the afternoon, you'll transfer in hotel shuttle vehicles, into the Aberdare National Park the Ark, one can enjoy wildlife viewing, from the lodge precincts. Your dinner and an overnight stay will be at a beautiful hotel called the Ark Lodge.

The Aberdare National Park within the range is home to various wildlife species, including black rhinos, black servals, black leopards (rarely seen), and the Eastern bongo (a large forest antelope). Other animals like elephants, buffalos, giraffes, monkeys, leopards, lions, and more inhabit the area.

Day 3

Aberdare - Lake Nakuru National Park

You'll have breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. You'll arrive in time for lunch and a short rest.

Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos. It is also a rhino sanctuary. You will embark on a game drive which includes viewing flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive leopard or the tree-climbing lions of this park. The afternoon game drive is included. You will return to your lodge as the sun sets!

Day 4

After breakfast, you'll commence a drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective camp/lodge. The afternoons will be spent at leisure, with optional activities, e.g visiting the Masai Cultural Village or taking a walking safari, flanked by Masai warriors (Morans), in the middle of the rolling African savannah takes you through an experience of learning the medicinal plants that the Masais use and how they mutually co-exist with wildlife in the Mara ecosystem.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is a large game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in the Mara Region. It is named in honor of the Maasai people (the ancestral inhabitants of the area) and their description of the area when looked at from afar: Mara, which is Maa (Maasai language) for "spotted", an apt description for the circles of trees, scrub, savannah, and cloud shadows that mark the area.

The early morning calm air of the Masai Mara has made possible the introduction of hot air balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird's eye view (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure). Early morning game drives in the reserve, are a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, you'll return to your lodge for a late-morning breakfast. Lunch and late afternoon wildlife viewing drive.

Optional: A full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes (full-day game drive including visits to the Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post, and a great chance to view the Big Five. You will have a picnic lunch at Hippo Pool. You'll return to your lodge late in the afternoon). You'll visit the nearby Maasai village as an optional excursion.

After breakfast at the lodge/camp, you will embark on your return journey to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at Carnivore restaurant for lunch. Later, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a scheduled international departure flight, 3 hours before flight departure time. Distance: Approx. 270 kms - 6 hrs drive. End of your luxury adventure safari.
