Safari in the Chobe National Park
As early as 6:30 am, guests are awakened with warm water for freshening up and a revitalizing "dumela" welcome (good day). You will go for an early-morning game drive after having a quick cup of tea or coffee and a light continental breakfast. Big cats and wild canines are more likely to be seen around this time of day because they are still active and out and about. Towards the middle or end of the morning, visitors return to camp for a sumptuous "bush brunch" and the chance to relax before their afternoon wildlife drive. All clients will return to the camp at 6:00 p.m., have a cooling shower, and get ready for dinner.
The cats and huge herbivores like elephants and buffalo are the highlight of the diverse range of game in Chobe National Park, but there are also rarer species like puku, eland, sable, and roan antelope. After dusk, come back to camp for a somber campfire discussion. Dinner is served next, as it always is to the mesmerizing sounds of the African night.
