Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Your safari begins with a departure from the Johannesburg O.R Tambo Airport bus terminal at 7:00 am. You’ll board a comfortable minivan and embark on a scenic journey toward the lodge located near the Kruger National Park. Upon arrival at the lodge, you’ll check in and have some time to relax and freshen up in your accommodation.

The lodge offers comfortable and spacious tented accommodations that provide a perfect blend of modern amenities and an authentic safari experience. Later in the day, you’ll have the opportunity to embark on your first safari drive in the Kruger National Park. Boarding an open safari vehicle, you’ll venture into the vast wilderness accompanied by experienced guides. After the exhilarating game drive, you’ll return to the lodge.

You can unwind and relax while enjoying refreshing drinks and immersing yourself in the tranquil ambiance of the lodge.

Kruger National Park

Your safari begins before sunrise as this is the prime time for game viewing, especially when it comes to spotting predators. After a short drive from the lodge, you’ll enter the gates of the Kruger National Park, accompanied by your knowledgeable guide. They will navigate you to the best areas known for wildlife sightings.

During the safari, the lodge will provide breakfast packs for you to enjoy along the way. After approximately three hours, you’ll take a break for breakfast, restrooms, and the opportunity to purchase coffee, rejuvenating yourself for the rest of the adventure.

A lunch stop will be made at a designated rest area where you’ll have the freedom to choose and purchase your own meal.

After lunch, the safari continues back towards the lodge, arriving at around 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm. You’ll have ample time to relax, take a refreshing swim, and unwind before enjoying a delightful dinner.

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

On the final day of your Kruger safari experience, you have two options to enjoy your day. You can either opt for another thrilling sunrise game drive to make the most of your time in the wilderness, or enjoy a relaxing morning at the lodge. The sunrise game drive is an optional activity and can be arranged and paid for at the lodge.

After your chosen activity or morning of relaxation, the lodge will provide a transfer to the shuttle pick-up point in Hazyview just before 12 pm. From there, you’ll join the transfer shuttle that will take you back to Johannesburg. Along the way, there will be comfort stops to ensure your journey remains comfortable and convenient.

You can expect to arrive at the Johannesburg O.R Tambo Airport between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm. This allows ample time for you to catch any onward flights or make necessary arrangements for your further travel plans.
