Arrive at JRO (Kilimanjaro International Airport) or Arusha Airport in Arusha at the foot of Mount Meru. Our guide will meet you on arrival and transfer you to your lodge.

Depending on your time, you may go on a guided town tour to local markets, shops, museums, and restaurants/pubs to experience the bustling local life in Arusha.

Breakfast at the Lodge and Transfer to Tarangire NP

After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.

This park is stunning and boasts a wide range of wildlife, including endless herds of elephants. Adding to its beauty is the Tarangire River winding through and the landscape dotted with spectacular baobab trees.

Depending on your interests, there will also be opportunities for highly interesting and informative walking safaris in this park.

Transit time: 1.5 hours.

After the game drive, return for dinner and overnight at the lodge inside the park.

After your Tarangire experience, you proceed to the Serengeti for 1 or 2 nights if you are more interested in wilderness exploration in this magnificent and oldest park. You will be arriving in the late afternoon at your tented camp.

Driving through the Serengeti, you'll begin to grasp the sheer magnitude and magnificence of this park, passing kopjes, woodland, marshes, hills and rolling valleys, with vast horizons drawing you on.

Wildlife thrives in every corner. You will see giraffes, zebra, elephants, lion prides, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, jackals, kudus, spotted hyenas and much more.

Olduvai George and Ngorongoro Highlands

Before our transfer to Ngorongoro, we will visit Olduvai Gorge, where there will be opportunities to visit local communities with whom we have a long-standing relationship, go on nature walks, or visit nearby coffee plantations.

In the late afternoon, we drive towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. You will check in at your lodge and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Early next morning, you descend onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor for your game drive.

This extraordinary “bowl of nature” harbours almost every species of African plains mammals, including the endangered black rhino.

Ngorongoro Crater and Transfer to Arusha

After an early breakfast, we make our way towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive.

This extraordinary “bowl of nature” harbors almost every species of African plains mammal, including the endangered black rhino. The views along the way, including onto the crater floor, are spectacular.

We then make our way back to Isoitok Camp. After some rest, enjoy a viewpoint walk overlooking Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy sundowner snacks and beverages as you soak in a sunset overlooking Lake Manyara.

You will be dropped off in Arusha.
