On this 1st day, you will be picked up by the company guide/driver from your hotel or airport and you will hit the road to Murchison Falls. The highlights of this park include; the roaring rapids of the Murchison, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park where you will have the chance of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. Then surely you will be fascinated by the concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles here. For birders, Murchison Falls boasts 450 bird species including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf king fisher, the white-thigh hornbill, and the Goliath heron among others.
En-route, make a detour visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. You will have at least one hour of rhino tracking while here. Another stop will be in Masindi in order to enjoy your lunch. Continue to the park and check into your accommodation to relax for the evening.

Murchison Falls Game Drive and Launch/Boat Trip to the Base of the Falls
Have your breakfast and then depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park. Here you will have the opportunity of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. For any birder, this area supports the secretary bird, and black-chested snake eagle to name a few. Return to your accommodation for lunch. After lunch, you will head out for the boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls where you will also be able to catch sight of more animals including hippos, crocodiles and several water birds. Continue with a hike (if you like) to the top of the falls. The hike may be a strenuous one but the thrill of reaching the top is breathtaking. Miss it only if you must. After the hike, you will have an evening game drive on your way to the lodge. Return to your accommodation and have a relaxed evening.

Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Start the day with a morning game drive to spot any wildlife you might have missed the previous day. Afterward, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees.
You will check in freshen up then later you will go for a walk in Bigodi Swamp, it is rich in biodiversity and scenic in beauty. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers and many more swamp endemics. Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkey and the Blue Monkey.

In the morning, you will go on a chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will trek through the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee groups. Once you find them, you will spend a memorable hour observing and learning about these fascinating primates. Afterward, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon Launch Cruise.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
On this day, you will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience of mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing by the park rangers, you will set off into the forest in small groups to track and observe one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek can vary in duration and difficulty depending on the gorilla group's location, but once you find them, you will spend an unforgettable hour in their presence, observing their behavior and capturing memories through photographs. This is a truly magical and humbling experience, as you witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat and after you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi green and lush terraced hills that are punctuated with a plethora of over 200 bird species. The place combines the art of water birds and some migratory birds. This makes it a perfect ideal for many bird enthusiasts. A dive into the Nyombi swamp reveals a variety of assorted birds.

Transfer to Entebbe Airport via the Equator
After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Entebbe Airport for your departure. The drive takes approximately 8-9 hours, with stops for lunch and scenic views along the way. Your guide will ensure that you reach the airport in time for your scheduled departure, marking the end of your 7-day Uganda safari.
