Arrival and drive to Bwindi Forest NP

Arrival at Entebbe airport, on arrival at the airport you be received by our tour guide/ driver, you will drive out from the airport drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP, you will have a stopover at the equator line crossing for a photo shoot and demonstrative experiment along Kampala - Masaka highway. The drive to the southwestern part of Uganda is scenic and a rewarding journey encompassing through the Kigezi highlands and termed as the (Ugandan Switzerland) with open grass plains with grazing long horned cattle. After an 8-9 hours' drive you will arrive at your lodge in Bwindi Forest for your overnight stay.

Gorilla trekking and drive to Lake Bunyonyi

Today you will set off early from your lodge after breakfast to the park headquarters, where you will register for your gorilla trek. Once you've been assigned a group you will follow your guide into Bwindi National Park. You start your trek by walking for about four hours before you reach the gorillas. Once you find the first gorilla, you have an hour with them. The hills can be strenuous, but the exhilaration of seeing the gorillas makes it all worthwhile.
After the trek you will drive to lake Bunyonyi at Antique cottages, freshen up for an evening boat cruise.
Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200-2,478m, but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical you will be amazed by serenity of the lake and its green terraced hills.

Drive to Entebbe international airport

Early in the morning of this day after breakfast you will embark on the journey to Entebbe international airport. You have a brief lunch break of close to 1 to 2 hours in Mbarara city.
You will later proceed with the journey back to Entebbe and arrive later in the evening in time for check in for out bound flight.
