Arusha to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, a driver will pick you up from your Arusha lodging or the airport and take you directly to Lake Manyara National Park. Its groundwater forests, bush plains, baobab-filled cliffs, and algae-covered hot springs provide great ecological variability in a tiny region that is home to a variety of species and astonishingly large numbers of birds. Thousands of pink flamingos graze in a stooping position, their bright colors standing out against the lakeshore's dark rocks.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lake Manyara National Park is surrounded by grassland, savannah, woodlands, mountain vistas, and hot springs. Animals like flamingos, elephants, lions that can scale trees, buffaloes, leopards, gazelles, baboons, hyenas, and many others can be found in this park.

In the afternoon you will break for lunch. After lunch, the game drive continues until you start driving to your lodge. It is now time to relax, dine, swim and relive the memories you collected during the day.

You will be collected after breakfast and driven to the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You may get out of the car at the Crater view and experience the Serengeti plains while traveling through picturesque Tanzania.

Wildlife abounds in the Serengeti National Park, a World Heritage Site. A region of about 15,000 square kilometers is home to almost 2 million ungulates, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and about 500 different species of birds. Today, the majority of visitors come here with the singular purpose of witnessing the millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and eland making a mass migration in search of water and greener pastures to graze on. These ungulates travel through the ecosystem in a seasonal rhythm during this massive cyclical movement.

Lunch will be offered during the safari. By late afternoon, you will arrive at your designated accommodation where you dine and cherish the greatest moments you gathered during the safari.

Game drive at Tarangire National Park

You will check out of the lodge after breakfast and proceed directly to Tarangire National Park in the Manyara region. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, gave it its name.

With a total area of 2,600 square kilometers, the 6th-largest national park in Tanzania is known for its vast elephant herds and is frequently extremely dry. In fact, it's drier than the Serengeti. However, it has much more lush flora, including a lot of grass, huge expanses of mixed acacia forests, and some gorgeous ribbons of aquatic forest. Do not overlook the enormous baobab trees which can store 300 to 900 liters of water and have a lifespan of up to 600 years.
