Day 1

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You will be picked up from the airport by your guide and briefed about your 6-day tour to Uganda. You will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop at the equator for photos and also enjoy craft and souvenir shopping. After your experience at the equator, you will continue to where you will have lunch.

After lunch, you will engage in a game drive and explore Lake Mburo National Park in search of different wildlife species such as zebras, buffalos, warthogs, and antelopes among others. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2

Guided Walk and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will have breakfast at your lodge before proceeding to enjoy a nature walk experience in Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the beautiful views around the national park where you can also spot some of the wildlife species such as topi, duiker, oribi, reedbuck, klipspringer, and impala among others.

After the nature walk, you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park having lunch enroute for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel

On this day, you will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive around Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the game drive, you will spot wildlife species in the savannah plains such as antelopes, elephants, lions, leopards, warthogs, and hippos among others.

After the game drive, you will have lunch. During your trip around Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will also enjoy an evening boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel where Lake Edward and Lake George meet. You will spot buffalos, elephants, hippos and Nile crocodiles along the shores of the lake. You will also see various bird species such as eagles, kingfishers, and herons among others.

Later, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Tree Climbing lions and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable park and Batwa experience

Tree Climbing lions and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable park and Batwa experience

You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and then proceed to check out of the lodge. Drive to Bwindi National Park via Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth famously known for the tree climbing lions lying on short fig tree branches. Proceed to Bwindi for more adventures and check in at your lodge on arrival.

You will also enjoy a community tour where you interact with the local community of the Batwa who are forest dwellers that depend on fruit gathering and hunting in the Bwindi Forest. Learn about their culture and way of life, watch traditional dance performances, and learn about their local herbs and food preparation and many other cultural aspects.

After the Batwa experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 5

Gorilla Trekking

Gorilla Trekking

You will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge. Thereafter, you will be driven to the park headquarters to start your gorilla-trekking adventure. At the park headquarters, you will be briefed about the activity before continuing to the forest to look for the gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

During the gorilla trekking, you will follow different trails as you search for the gorillas in their natural habitat. You will spend 1 hour with them and then trek back to the briefing point at the park headquarters where you will be met by your guide. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe

Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe

This is the last day of your 6 Day to Uganda, you will check out of your lodge after breakfast. Proceed to drive back to Entebbe with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara. Your guide will drop you off at the airport and this will mark the end of your trip.
