Day 1

Our driver-guide will meet you in Entebbe at 7:00 am. You will drive west of the country to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you will stop at the drum makers center called Mpambire. You’ll also stop at the Equator to take photographs, then proceed via Mbarara town, which is endowed with beautiful landscapes.
You will see various rolling hills with terraces, and it will be such a great journey with all these sights. Upon reaching the park, check in at the lodge of your choice and relax there for the evening as you get ready for the next day. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Rushaga Gorilla Camp.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Experience
Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Experience
Have breakfast at 6:30 am and transfer to the park headquarters with a packed lunch, where professional park rangers will brief you. By 8:00 am, you will be accompanied by the park rangers as you enter the misty forest to trek mountain gorillas. You might need a walking stick if you are not physically fit enough. Also, consider using porters to carry your luggage (if you have any), and you’ll pay them a small amount for labour. Trekking may take between 2 and 8 hours.
When you see and start interacting with the gorillas, you have an hour to spend with them. After the trekking, return to the lodge to unwind. Later in the evening, take a walk in various communities, such as the Batwa community, where you will interact with them and learn a lot from them before you retire to the lodge.

Day 3

Enjoy your breakfast and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through the Ishasha Sector which is home to tree-climbing lions. The park has a variety of wildlife species, such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, and many others. When you arrive, have lunch at the lodge and go for a late afternoon game drive where you can see many animals and birds. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4

Today, you will be up very early for breakfast at 6:00 am, after which you will immediately start the game drive. You have to be early because you can see the morning risers like lions, solitary buffaloes, kobs, elephants, etc. It is such a great and exciting time as you can easily see these animals closely.
Later, head back to the lodge for lunch and get ready for the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is home to various bird species, such as malachite kingfishers and pink-backed pelicans, and animals like crocodiles, elephants, hippos, and many more. Cruising on the Kazinga Channel is one of the most eye-catching activities in the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5

Have a tasty breakfast and then go on a morning game drive. You’ll also visit the Baboon Cliff, where you will be introduced to amazing and beautiful scenery. Have lunch at the lodge and embark on your journey to Kibale Forest National Park which is home to chimpanzees. It is approximately a 2 to 3-hour drive. Arrive in the evening, have dinner, and spend your night.

Day 6
Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Entebbe

What an amazing day ahead of you! Have an early breakfast and leave the lodge. Proceed to the park headquarters with enough bottled drinking water. Here, you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing, embark on trekking through the forest at around 8:00 am, guided by an armed park ranger. Nothing is as amazing as having time with chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will also see other primates like golden monkeys, grey-cheecked mangabeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and bush babies, among others. You will also spot several birds.
Afterward, leave the park and drive to Kampala via Mubende, where you will see the beautiful scenic views found in this area. You will enjoy lunch in Mubende and then continue to Kampala. Your driver guide will either leave you at your accommodation facility in Kampala or take you to Entebbe.
