Our team will pick you up from either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and take you to your hotel in Arusha. If time allows, depending on your arrival, you will have the option to do an Arusha city tour, visiting the famous art gallery (cultural heritage), local markets, and Maasai Market for souvenirs.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive for 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. The park is well known for its large elephant herds and abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent). From the open roof of the vehicle, you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River which is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs and elephants. Matete picnic site has a spectacular view overlooking the Tarangire River. You will have your picnic lunch there and proceed with game viewing before driving to Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mto wa Mbu to Ndutu
After breakfast, you will engage in cultural tourism activities before heading to Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti. You will explore local tribes, banana farms, rice plantations, and artwork. You will depart at 11:30 a.m., passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area and reaching Ndutu by 2:00 pm. You will witness the incredible phenomenon of thousands of animals being born daily from December to March. The nutrient-rich grass in Ndutu provides a safe and nourishing environment for young zebras and wildebeests, as the shorter grass allows adults to spot approaching predators. You will enjoy a captivating game drive until sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in your accommodation.

Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu
You will embark on an early morning game drive to kickstart your day, followed by a full day of thrilling game viewing. The Ndutu Region, situated in the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, extends to the unfenced southern area of the Serengeti National Park. This unique location creates a captivating convergence of these two remarkable wilderness areas.
One of the prime game viewing spots in Ndutu is Lake Ndutu, where vast herds of animals gather. The lake serves as a crucial water source for wildlife and shares its basin with nearby Lake Masek, located just east of Ndutu within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
For an extraordinary perspective, consider adding a hot air balloon safari to your experience (available at an additional cost), allowing you to witness the breathtaking scenery from the sky during the morning hours.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater
You will leave Ndutu at 6:00 am with your packed meals and head to the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater. This expansive area is home to a diverse range of East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino. You will spend 5 to 6 hours exploring the crater, which spans 260 square kilometers and extends approximately 20 kilometers in diameter. You will enjoy lunch within the crater before continuing to Ngorongoro Marera View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, a short 40-minute drive will bring you to the entrance gate of Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its unique population of tree-climbing lions, this park offers a diverse range of wildlife and landscapes. A large salt lake dominates a significant portion of the park, attracting over 300 bird species. The ever-changing seasons result in the flooding and drying of the lake, adding to the park's dynamic character. You will enjoy the sight of grassy plains, woodland areas teeming with primates, and cliffs adorned with baobab trees. Afterward, you will drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.
