Shira trek is located in the west Kilimanjaro part, and trek through a forest reserve, where our Kili guide shows you many Kilimanjaro vegetation, and types of wildflowers. Also, see many birds, and animals like colobus Monkeys in the trees. Your hike through the beautifully rugged landscape of the Shira Plateau starts at 3,500 m above sea level. Climbers will see vast plains of the Amboseli game reserve, and as far as Mount Meru.
