Day 1

In the early morning at 4:00 am, you will meet the driver at your hotel or airport and drive to Nyerere National Park. You will arrive and check in at Mloka Safari Lodge followed by breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game-viewing drive around Nyerere National Park. You will explore the game in the surrounding areas, from your seat on an open-top vehicle, a comfortable and privileged journey through the wild African bush. You can expect to see any of the major African mammals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and even the rare African wild dogs. You will be able to stop somewhere in the park at noon for lunch. Then, you will proceed again with your game viewing to sunset, where you will drive back to Mloka Safari Lodge or a similar place for dinner and an overnight stay.

At 6:00 am, you will start the boat safari at Rufiji River. The boat safari takes 2 hours. You will also see almost 350 of the bird species that have been recorded in this game reserve. The birdlife is supported by the Rufiji River swampland. You will go back to the camp for a heavy breakfast. Afterward, you'll drive back to Dar es Salaam via Maasai Village to experience the Maasai culture. This experience aims to share with you the authentic Maasai life and culture in a traditionally built village (Boma). This unique tour will allow you to meet and interact with the community and experience their culture and lifestyle. After the tour, you will drive back to Dar es Salaam where you will arrive in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or ferry port.
