2 travelers on Start dateArusha to Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00am. After being introduced to the guide, chef, and other clients, we will drive to Tarangire National Park.
The park is famous for its diverse landscapes, particularly the abundance of ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania! The abundance of elephants provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. We will do a game drive through the park depending on where there are reported sightings of animals. Predators like lions, cheetahs and leopards are more challenging to spot, but herbivores, such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras, are plentiful throughout the park.
We will go to the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy the view of the river and animals while having lunch. Small monkeys and baboons will try to scare you off your lunch, but that is normal. We proceed with the game drive, exit the park around 4:30pm and head to Fig Tree Lodge & Camp for an overnight stay.

Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot.
