Day 2

Chimpanzee Trekking Experience, Kibale National Park
The Uganda chimpanzee trekking experience is a unique opportunity that will allow you to follow a chimpanzee community in its daily activities. Accompanying Kibale NP rangers, you will be on the forest floor to watch the chimps search for their fruits & vocalizing. Then you will follow them for an hour observing the full gamut of their behavior. You will be part of the Uganda Wildlife Authority initiative to trek the chimpanzees without changing their natural environment. It’s one of the great moments of your safari! In the afternoon do the community & swamp walk offered by the member of Bigodi Community. It’s one way of learning about the traditional cultural of Africa. An morning Breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, home for the mountain gorillas that inhabits the Bwindi Forest of Uganda & Virunga volcanoes which stretches the borders of Uganda, Rwanda & Democratic Republic of Congo. The drive has great scenery of farmlands in Ankole, rolling hills in kigezi leading to the great Virunga mountains as you’re approaching Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or similar.

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the ranger station for Gorilla Trekking experience Briefing on do’s and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas, afterwards you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide & hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Once you find them you usually have an hour with them, time to sit and observe them at very close quarters of 10 meters & After the experience return back to the lodge. Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or Similar.

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to Ntebeko visitors center a head of the Golden Monkey Trekking Experience. It's a unique experience that will enhance your primate safari in Uganda! You will be led by a ranger guide and hike up into the Virunga forests in search of these endangered monkeys & after you find them, you’ll be allowed to stay with them for an hour and then return to the trailhead to begin your journey to kigali, Rwanda Marking the end of the Trip. Your guide will drop you at your planned hotel in Kigali. End.
