Game drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up by a Kojuu Safaris driver guide and chef who will drive you to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for game viewing. Serengeti is an extremely large and wild game park that is every traveller's desire to see. At nearly 15,000 sq km, this park is truly “the endless plains” as it is known by the nomadic Maasai who are found here. Your mind will be boggled by the quantity and wildlife inside the Serengeti. It is the home of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, African buffalo, and rhino). It is also famous for its annual migration and beautiful landscapes. After the game viewing, you will drive to the lodge which is located inside the park for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Full-day game drive in Serengeti

The sound of Africa arouses you from sleep and you will freshen up and go to the main area for breakfast. After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and drive to the park for a full-day game drive. If you love animals, then Serengeti is a good place to be. Here, you will find the real Mufasa, Nala, Simba, and Scar, thanks to the Disney film “The Lion King”. There are around 3,000 lions living in the Serengeti ecosystem. They are relatively easy to spot, not just because of their numbers, but also because they like to loll about for hours each day under the trees. In fact, lions can lounge around for about 20 hours a day. The Serengeti also has bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, and birds like kori bustards, Fischer’s lovebirds, and many others.

Later in the evening, you will drive to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight. Tomorrow, the wonder of the crater awaits you.

Here, you will find many reasons why you chose to come on safari. Firstly, there was a volcanic caldera full of grassland, forest, and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. Secondly, the permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Inside the crater, you might spot animals such as leopard, lion, black rhino, hyena, zebra, waterbuck, baboon, and many others. Afterward, you'll ascend from the crater to be dropped off at the accommodation in Arusha (booked by yourself).
