You will be picked up from the airport by a Sunday Safaris representative and driven directly to Arusha town. On this day, you will just relax, enjoy the lodge and prepare yourself for the coming days. You will get the full tour briefing after arriving at Kiboko Lodge where you will have dinner and overnight.

Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up after breakfast and driven to Arusha for a town tour. The tour will include a local market where you will be able to see how local people purchase their food. You will also visit the famous market in Arusha as well as the fruits, vegetables, and dry goods market.

After the town and market tour, you will have a hot, local lunch and will then drive to the lodge in Tarangire to relax and enjoy the swimming pool. Dinner and overnight will be at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Manyara National Park

Drive to Mto wa Mbu village after breakfast and visit a local primary school where your kids will have an opportunity to spend time in a local school class. You will be informed about the daily activities which take place in a Tanzanian school. After visiting the school, you will drive to the lodge for a hot lunch and relax.

In the evening, you will drive to a Maasai village where you will experience a Maasai boma, Maasai house, cattle, and Maasai dances. Afterward, there will be a bush walk which will be guided by a Maasai. The bush walk will give your kids an opportunity to learn about local medicines and to see small animals and insects. Africa is home to different species of insects that are very interesting to kids. This bush walk is a must! Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Manyara Safari Lodge.

Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for a game drive until the afternoon when you will return. The Ngorongoro Crater was a volcano that collapsed about 2 million years ago, and as a result, a caldera was formed which later became a home to different species of animals and birds. Big animals like rhino, elephant, zebra, buffalo, eland, and wildebeest made this crater their home. Big cats like lions can be easily spotted in this beautiful World Heritage Site. Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Manyara Safari Lodge.

You have 2 options today; relax at the lodge or do a bike tour in Mto wa Mbu village. The bike tour will take you to rice and banana plantations and also to savannah where you will see wild animals like zebras and wildebeests. Mto wa Mbu village has a flat landscape which makes it easier for kids to enjoy the ride. Dinner and overnight will be at Manyara Safari Lodge.

Arusha

Drive to Arusha after breakfast and do a coffee tour where you will learn all the stages that coffee goes through; from the coffee plant until its ends in a cup. You will take a walk on the coffee farm and your tour guide will show you the coffee plants and coffee beans. You will also visit the coffee roastery where you will be able to taste different roasting types like light, medium, French, and dark. The coffee tour will be followed by a local, hot lunch with a fresh, organic cup of coffee. Dinner and overnight will be at Kiboko Lodge.
