Day 1

At around 8 am, you'll depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. You'll enjoy a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the Rift Valley escarpment. You'll continue the journey to Masai Mara and arrive at your chosen safari camp or lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you'll take some time to relax and settle in at your accommodation. In the afternoon, you'll embark on your first game drive in Masai Mara. Your experienced safari guide will take you through the vast grasslands in search of wildlife, including the Big Five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard), zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and various antelopes species as well as the great wildebeest migration into Kenya. You'll enjoy the landscapes and wildlife sightings during the game drive. Your first of the tour will be marked ending by returning to your camp/lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this full-day exploration at Masai Mara National Reserve, you will wake up early in the morning before sunrise and have a quick cup of tea or coffee. You'll embark on an early morning game drive. This is the best time to spot predators, as they are most active during the cooler hours of the day. You may witness a lion hunt or a cheetah chasing its prey. After the game drive, you'll return to the camp/lodge for a full breakfast. You'll spend the mid-morning at leisure, relaxing at the lodge, or perhaps taking a nature walk with a Maasai guide to learn about the local flora and fauna. You'll enjoy lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you can choose between another game drive or visit a Maasai village to learn about the culture and traditions at an extra cost. Afterward, you'll head out for an evening game drive, where you can witness the spectacular African sunset and the nocturnal animals starting to become active. After breakfast at your camp or lodge in Masai Mara, you'll check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive from Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru will approximately take 5 hours, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views along the way. Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Reserve, you'll proceed to your chosen accommodation, the Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, for check-in and lunch. After lunch, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Reserve. Keep an eye out for the park's famous rhino population, including both black and white rhinos. You can also spot other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. You'll visit the shores of Lake Nakuru, known for its pink hue due to the large flocks of flamingos that inhabit the lake. Back to Nairobi

On this last day of your tour, you will wake up early in the morning for a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. This is a great time to spot wildlife and enjoy the beautiful sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro. After the game drive, you'll return to your accommodation for breakfast and check-out, where you will get assisted by our tour guide who shall be available to serve you to your best preferences. If time allows, you can take a visit to a Masai village to learn about the local culture and traditions at an extra cost. You'll depart from Amboseli and drive back to Nairobi, a distance of 203.5 km approximately a 3 hours 20 minutes drive, with a stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon or evening, you will be driven to the JKIA airport.
