1-Day Nairobi Park, Sheldrick Orphanage & Giraffe Centre

Your day begins with a 6:00 AM pickup from your hotel, followed by a short drive to Nairobi National Park, where you enter the park for an early morning game drive. This is the best time for wildlife viewing, as animals are most active at sunrise.

At around 10:00 AM, you exit the park and proceed to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, arriving before 11:00 AM for the daily public viewing session of orphaned baby elephants being bottle-fed, playing in the mud, and interacting with their keepers, while learning about the conservation work behind their rescue and rehabilitation.

Afterwards, you will head to a nearby restaurant for lunch around 12:30 PM, where you can enjoy a relaxed meal. After lunch, you continue to the Giraffe Centre at around 2:00 PM, where you meet the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, learn about their conservation, and enjoy the chance to feed them from an elevated platform. Later by 3pm you will be dropped back to your hotel.
